Cap Cai indonesian vegetable stir fry

Ingredients

  • cauliflower, cut into small florets
  • 1/2 carrot, cut into 1/2 cms thick
  • 4 meatballs cut into 1/2 cms thick
  • 1 cup of chicken breast, cubed (optional)
  • 1/2 onion, cut into cubes
  • 1 spring onion, cut into 10 cms lenght
  • 3 fresh shitake mushrooms
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup of chicken stock
  • 1 chilli pepper
  • salt and white pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp corn flour / corn starch mixed with 4 tbs of water

How to make it

  • with alittle oil and medium heat saute garlic until fragant, add onion until soft add meat balls, (add chicken, if you're using)
  • add cauliflower, carrot and mushrooms and chilli pepper
  • add chicken stock, stir, cover with lid, let it cook for 5 minutes
  • add salt, pepper and spring onion, corn starch mixture, stirr well serve hot
